We’ve taken some of the questions we get asked most frequently and compiled them in one place. If you can’t find the answer you're looking for in the list below, contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

Do I need a referral?

  • No. In the state of North Carolina we have Direct Access. This means you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call and we can help. 

What can I expect during my initial evaluation?

  • Your therapist will listen and thoroughly go over your past medical history and treatment goals with you. They will answer any questions or concerns you may have. They will conduct a detailed physical evaluation, in order to address your specific activity limitations, physical impairments, and pain origin. At the end of your session, you and your therapist will work together to determine the most effective and optimal treatment plan. 

What should I wear?

  • Please wear something comfortable, preferably workout clothing so the Therapist  can assess your movement.

  • If your issue involves the lower extremities, please wear shorts or tight fitting workout apparel. No jeans. 

  • If your issue involves the upper extremities or neck, please wear short sleeves or a tank top. No baggy clothing please. 

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes, Absolutely!

Do you take my insurance?
  • No, we do not bill insurance companies. We believe that your care should not be dictated by insurance companies. Your treatment should be based on your specific needs and not determined by what intervention is reimbursed the most. Unfortunately, most insurance based clinics treat in this fashion, so they can remain profitable.

  • We can provide you with a super-bill. This will allow you to submit proof of itemized treatments and services to your insurance company, for any out-of-network reimbursement benefits you might be eligible for.

  • Every insurance plan is different. If you are unsure about what kind of out-of-network benefits your plan offers, call the number on the back of your insurance card to inquire.

  • We can provide you with upfront and transparent pricing options to meet your needs. There are no hidden fees and you will never receive an unexpected bill from us.
